At our Spring Arts Evening, on Tuesday, May 8th, the Waldorf High School of Massachusetts Bay community participated in a fundraiser for our sister school, Goderich Waldorf School of Sierra Leone. |

Thanks to the tremendous support from many, our spring auction and dinner, The Waldorf Academy Awards, surpassed our fund raising goalsandwas a lot fun! Our net proceeds are just over $23,000, which includes $11,500 from the Special Appeal for our Diversity Fund.
We are thankful to all the businesses and individuals who donated goods and services. Our auction included a wide variety of items from knitted gnomes, golfing, jewelry, a broken baseball bat (signed by Johnny Damon), wine, a dozen eggs, artwork, restaurant passes, ice cream, to a night in a former jail (the Liberty Hotel), a concert and Red Sox tickets, Chinese tea, a cigar box guitar and more! And, of course we are thankful to our enthusiastic bidders during the evening! |

Now you too can walk the red carpet at The Waldorf Academy Awards! We all will have the opportunity to have fun, honor many of the teachers, programs, and events as well as support the programs and financial aid at Waldorf High School. All in one night!
Waldorf High School’s spring dinner and auction is Saturday, March 24, from 6:00 – 10:30 pm, in our auditorium. We hope every Waldorf High School family will be able to enjoy this community event and support our school! Bring your friends and relatives. You will be receiving your invitations with the RSVP card in the mail next week.
We are asking parents and friends to donate items for our live and silent auction. Think of what you will be able to contribute: goods, services, get-aways, outings, tours, or entertainment. Use this Donor Information Form. Also, consider asking businesses that you frequent to support WHS through a donation to our auction of goods or services. You may use the Auction Donor Letter to request contributions from businesses. In the past two years we have surpassed our fund-raising goals, thanks to the enthusiasm, creativity and generosity of our school community.
