Thanks to the tremendous support from many, our spring auction and dinner,
The Waldorf Academy Awards, surpassed our fund raising goalsandwas a lot fun! Our net proceeds are just over $23,000, which includes $11,500 from the Special Appeal for our Diversity Fund.
We are thankful to all the businesses and individuals who donated goods and services. Our auction included a wide variety of items from knitted gnomes, golfing, jewelry, a broken baseball bat (signed by Johnny Damon), wine, a dozen eggs, artwork, restaurant passes, ice cream, to a night in a former jail (the Liberty Hotel), a concert and Red Sox tickets, Chinese tea, a cigar box guitar and more! And, of course we are thankful to our enthusiastic bidders during the evening!
