The Waldorf Academy Awards: A Great Success!
It was Fun and our Fundraising Goal was Surpassed
Nell and Gregg Borgeson, parents of Annabel Margolis-Borgeson, a WHS sophomore, approach the Red Carpet. Nell was an inspiration and the mover and shaker of Waldorf Academy Awards.

Thanks to the tremendous support from many, our spring auction and dinner,The Waldorf Academy Awards, surpassed our fund raising goalsandwas a lot fun! Our net proceeds are just over $23,000, which includes $11,500 from the Special Appeal for our Diversity Fund.

We are thankful to all the businesses and individuals who donated goods and services. Our auction included a wide variety of items from knitted gnomes, golfing, jewelry, a broken baseball bat (signed by Johnny Damon), wine, a dozen eggs, artwork, restaurant passes, ice cream, to a night in a former jail (the Liberty Hotel), a concert and Red Sox tickets, Chinese tea, a cigar box guitar and more! And, of course we are thankful to our enthusiastic bidders during the evening!
