This course will have a multi-disciplinary focus. Supported by various teachers the course will explore the change that began in Tunisia in January 2011 and has subsequently spread to Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories. Students will cover issues from the perspectives of history, economics, political science, psychology, religion, health, environmental science, data analysis and statistics, art and literature, and the movement’s impact on the future of the region and the United States.
