Chorus
Music Course, Mr. Claus

"If you can walk, you can dance; if you can talk, you can sing" - Zimbabwe proverb.

Singing is an important activity in all Waldorf schools, beneficial for both body and soul. Group singing promotes social health, and even mainstream medicine accepts the benefits of singing for healthy breathing and for a healthy heart. In chorus, we will sing together, beginning with traditional folk songs and rounds and moving to the more complex harmonies of inspirational and contemporary music. Every class will begin with warm-up exercise to improve our breathing and awareness of our vocal instruments, and our singing will culminate in sharing our music with the school community.
