Movement at Waldorf
Educating the way we move is as important at Waldorf High School as the way we think. Physical fitness builds self-confidence and self-esteem, laying the foundation for social and recreational skills that serve students well for the rest of their lives. To support healthy physical and emotional growth, we offer a comprehensive array of sports and physical education for our students.

Sports
Our competitive sports program is year-round and enthusiastically supported by the student body. In the fall, we offer a soccer program for the girls and boys. The girls play a full schedule of games with other private schools in the Girls Independent League. The boys play in the Massachusetts Bay Independent League. In the winter, our girls' and boys' basketball teams also play in competitive independent leagues. In the spring, we offer a running club that practices twice a week and participates in local races on weekends. Since beginning league play in 1999, our teams have won several championship banners: the boys' basketball team won the MBIL championship in 2000, and the boys' soccer team won the MBIL championship three times.

Physical Education
Physical fitness builds self-confidence and self-esteem, laying the foundation for a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.  In developing our physical education and competitive sports program, we provide a range of athletic opportunities, creating a framework on which to build each succeeding year.
