Apply to Waldorf High School
We welcome students to apply at any time throughout the year through our rolling admissions process. We also welcome mid-year applications for the current school year.
If you are considering applying, we would love to get to know you! Please call 617-489-6600 or submit an inquiry form to get in touch with our admissions team.
IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR MARCH-APRIL 2020: Since we have temporarily shifted to distance learning due to COVID-19, we will not be hosting in-person tours or shadow visits during this time. In lieu of these visits we will invite prospective families to connect with our warmly welcoming school community through phone or video chats with current families and faculty members. Please email email@example.com for more information.
We aim to make our application process as streamlined and stress-free as possible. Here is how the process looks step-by-step:
Submit an inquiry form to let us know you are interested.
If you like, arrange a tour of the school to learn more about us.
Contact three adults who will submit recommendations on the student's behalf: a math teacher, an English teacher, and a school administrator (principal, head of school, guidance counselor, or homeschool coordinator). You can provide their emails on the application form so we can send them a link to an online evaluation form, or you can give them a paper form which they will mail to us.
Submit Transcript Release form to current/recent schools for past three years of school work, or for homeschooled students, submit an overview of homeschool curriculum.
Arrange for the student to attend a shadow visit to the school. Students applying from overseas or who are not currently in the local area can arrange for a video meeting instead.
Arrange a parent/guardian meeting with the Director of School, which can be done at the same time as the shadow visit or as part of a school tour.
Consider applying to our Tailored Tuition program which customizes tuition to be affordable for all families.
