Main Lesson Extension Day: Revolutions

The 9th graders extended their studies of the Industrial Revolution in the Revolutions main lesson by learning about some local history at the site of the Waltham Watch Factory, which was internationally famous for being the first to mass produce watches under one roof, and was also exemplary in supporting their employees. They also visited the Charles River Museum of Industry and learned about the history of the textile industry in Lowell and saw a variety of intriguing machinery.
